Heh. We frequently have the 'they laughed' business quoted to us on HolfordWatch and we usually use Park's Bozo crack. In future, we shall link to the strips - thank you for the tip.
They laughed at people who recycled ancient clichés, too. Climate change may or may not be real, but argument from repeated assertion just doesn't cut it.
