I don't know if it's written by an old man or not, one can only assume so, but whoever writes it, it has got a lot of extremely good stuff about psychiatry and psychiatric drugs. Fans of Daniel Carlat's blog or even former readers of the now seemingly defuct Furious Seasons will find it extremely interesting.
It's actually been going since 2005, but for some reason I've only just found out about it (many thanks to regular Neuroskeptic commentator Bernard Carroll).

Thank you for pointing me to this!
If you really want to know what is going on with psychiatric drug bullshit, go there. It is illuminating and heartbreaking.
I really miss Furious Seasons. Thanks for the heads up!
It's not really his fault the name is so stupid. He used to have a blog called Three Old Men that he co-write with two friends, only they never wrote anything. It was all him. He wrote a lot about politics back then. I'm his daughter, and I set up the site for him. I said he needed his own blog, and for Christmas 2005, I gave him 1boringoldman.com as a present and a joke. I never thought he'd do so much with it. He's a retired psychiatrist/psychoanalyst, and I concur. The man isn't boring. He's about the least boring person I know.
One follow-up comment: my parents directed me here. They loved the mention, the title, and the sentiment of the review. We had a good laugh, too.
So what happened to furious seasons?
